The 2015 Economic Education Annual Gala Event will feature Dr. John C. Williams, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, as keynote speaker. In his role, he serves on the Federal Open Market Committee, bringing the Fed’s Twelfth District’s perspectives to monetary policy discussions in Washington. He represents the largest Federal Reserve District in terms of geography and aggregate size of the economies included. His position was formerly held by Janet Yellen, current Chair of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and the Federal Reserve System.
