ACSS Educator Awards:
ACSS offers several educator awards presented at our Annual Conference. They are Great Moments in Teaching Social Studies Award (for lesson plans that are highly effective in teaching students grades K-12), Wilbur Murra Award (for lifetime of social studies education or impacting students of the social studies), and the Isidore Starr Award (for a current outstanding social studies educator).
To nominate someone or yourself for any of these awards- please submit the information needed through the following forms: The Due Date for the next Annual Conference is December 7th, 2026.
