ACSS Educator Awards:
ACSS offers several educator awards presented at our Annual Conference.
Great Moments in Teaching Social Studies Award (for lesson plans that are highly effective in teaching students grades K-12),
Wilbur Murra Award (for lifetime of social studies education or impacting students of the social studies), and the
Isidore Starr Award (for a current outstanding social studies educator).
