Cost? Free but you must place a $30 deposit to assure your attendance at the event.
It will be promptly refunded after you attend. If you do not attend, we will be keeping the deposit.
Who should attend? Teachers, grade levels 4 -12. Limited to 25 participants.
What to expect:
In this all-day workshop, you will learn the difference between Thinking Historically and Thinking Geographically. Hands-on demonstrations will be given on using new tools for educators developed by geographers to analyze and interpret documents, maps, political cartoons and other primary sources. All materials are available on-line and free from AzGA.
